Enable Support for 64-bit Web Applications

Compatibility with AccuAccount

AccuAccount Update 17.1.7104.13873 or later.

Delete the 'bin' Directory Content prior to Upgrading AccuAccount
Prior to performing the upgrade, the content of the 'bin' directory will need to be deleted on the web application server:
  1. Ensure all users are aware that AccuAccount will be under maintenance and inaccessible during the upgrade process.
  2. Download the upgrade executable and disable access to AccuAccount by utilizing the Maintenance Mode option.
    1. Once you check the box for '...read and understood the above information.', click Next.
    2. Click the option for 'Enable or disable Maintenance Mode' and click Next.
    3. Confirm the URL instance and click Next.
    4. Once all the rules have passed successfully and click Next.
    5. Confirm the IIS Application Pool and click Next. 
    6. Click the 'Enable' button.
  3. Access the web application server.
    1. Open the file system and locate the '\WebSite\Acculoan\bin' folder.
    2. Delete all the files in this folder.
  4. Return to the upgrade tool and click the 'Disable' button.
  5. Click the 'Previous' button until you return the Installation Type screen.
  6. Click the option for 'Update existing instance' and complete the upgrade.
How to Enable Support for 64-bit Web Applications in IIS
Below is how to make the configuration change in IIS:
  1. Right click on the Application Pool and select “Advanced Settings…” or select the same from the Actions pane after selecting the Application pool.
  2. Change the “Enable 32-bit Applications” to False.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Recycle the Application Pool.
